Account deletion

You can delete your Equivo account in the app or here, without installing the app.

Option 1

In the app

Profile
Settings
Account
Security
At the bottom of the screen: “If you want to close the account, click here”
Delete the account permanently

At the end, the app will ask you to confirm it’s you. In the same place you can also just mute the account for a while: your data stays, and everything comes back when you log in.

Option 2

Without the app

Enter the account’s email address. If such an account exists, we will send a confirmation link to that address.

The link works for 24 hours. We will only delete the account after the link is clicked and the deletion confirmed.

What we delete

The account and sign-in details.
Horse profiles created on this account, with their full history. People they were shared with will no longer see them either.
Photos, documents and recordings added from this account.

When

30 days after confirmation. If you change your mind during that time, log in to the app and choose “Keep account”, and the deletion will be cancelled. After 30 days the data is deleted permanently.

What remains

A short record that the request was carried out: the email address and the dates of the request and the deletion. It lets us show that the request was fulfilled.
If a Premium or MAX plan was purchased: the purchase details (plan, dates and the store transaction number), until claims become time-barred, usually 3 years.

Premium or MAX plan

Deleting the account does not stop subscription payments. If you have an active plan, cancel it in the App Store or Google Play, in the subscription settings on your phone.
